After weeks of being on the verge of an imminent roll-out, Google has finally gone ahead and pulled the trigger on the Android 4.4.3 update. The OTA update has started rolling out for all the Nexus devices out there including the 2013 Nexus 7, Nexus 10, Nexus 4 and the Nexus 5.
Android 4.4.3 is a small bug-fix and security focused update and does not bring any major new features or changes. The only major visible change is a refreshed Dialer that now sports an updated look with a colorful action bar.
All the other changes are mostly under-the-hood and include fixes for some common bugs like the mm-qcom-camera daemon process draining battery on the Nexus 5, some camera improvements, Bluetooth fixes and more.
As of now, it appears that Google is yet to roll out the OTA update as no one on the Internet has managed to grab a link of the update. However, the company has already uploaded the Android 4.4.3 factory images and binaries on its download page.
